Judaism is an ancient, monotheistic religous belief system that originated with the Hebrew people of central and southwestern Asia. Judaism is one of the oldest practiced faith systems in the world. It is believed to be over 3,500 years old, and it has had a deep and lasting influence on the way people see, think and act in their lives. The Jewish faith, culture and society have greatly influenced individual and collective identity all over the world.<\/p>\n

The traditional view of Judaism is that it is a single, coherent body of beliefs and practices that have been distinct since its inception. The essence of Judaism is considered to be the timeless and unchangeable relationship between the Jewish people and God.
