In the 6th century BCE, a man named Siddhartha Gautama was born into a wealthy family in Nepal. Siddhartha was troubled by the suffering he saw around him and began to search for a way to end it. After much study and meditation, Siddhartha reached a state of perfect peace and understanding, which he called Nirvana. Siddhartha’s teachings spread, and Buddhism was born.<\/p>\n

Buddhism began with the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, who was born in Nepal in the 6th century BCE. Siddhartha was a prince who live a life of luxury, but he was dissatisfied with his life and decided to leave his palace in search of wisdom. He studied with various teachers, but he was not satisfied with their answers. He then decided to sit in meditation under a tree and not move until he had found the truth. After 49 days of meditation, he attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. The Buddha then spent the rest of his life teaching others about his findings.<\/p>\n
