In order to achieve nirvana, Buddhism teaches that one must let go of all attachments and desires. This can be accomplished through practicing mindfulness and meditation. Once all attachments and desires are let go of, one experiences complete peace and freedom.

The path to nirvana is through the practice of the Eightfold Path as outlined by the Buddha. This path includes Right View, Right Resolve, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration.

What are the 8 steps to nirvana?

The Eightfold Path is a set of guidelines for living a moral and ethical life. It is considered the Noble Eightfold Path because it leads to nirvana, or liberation from suffering. The Eightfold Path consists of eight practices: right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi.

The four stages of enlightenment are Sotāpanna, Sakadāgāmi, Anāgāmi, and Arahant. Each stage represents a different level of understanding and realization of the true nature of reality.
