Enlightenment is the highest goal in Buddhism. It is the perfect attainment of Wisdom and Compassion. The Buddha is the supreme enlightened one, who possesses perfect knowledge and compassion. To become enlightened, a Buddhist must develop these qualities to the utmost.

Enlightenment in Buddhism is the moment when a person sees the true nature of reality. This includes the realization that all things are interconnected and interdependent, that there is no permanent self or soul, and that suffering is a part of life. Once a person has reached enlightenment, they are said to be “awake” and are able to see the world as it really is.

What does it mean to become enlightened Buddhism?

The true self is often seen as the authentic, innermost part of a person, while the false self is seen as the inauthentic, outermost part of a person. Social conditioning is often seen as the main reason why people have a false self.

It is always a good thing when people are freed from ignorance and misinformation. When people are enlightened, they are able to make better decisions based on a full understanding of the problems involved. This is why it is so important for there to be an enlightened ruling on any given issue.
