Origins of Christianity
Christianity is one of the oldest religions, with its origins in the Middle East. Its origin can be traced to the roots of the Hebrew Bible, although its followers became believers in the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, who was born in approximately 4 BC in Bethlehem, Jerusalem. Jesus is believed to have given the world the Ten Commandments and is revered as the savior of humankind.
